To the RWM, Past Masters, Office Bearers and Brethern of LodgeSt maurs Kilmaurs No. 1398
I would like to bring fraternal greetings from my own RWM and brethren of Lodge St John Maybole No.11.
I am writing to thank you for your very kind sponsorship donation in respect of the West Highland Way walk which I will undertake on the 24th 28th April this year. The generosity of the brethren of your Lodge and the generosity of Freemasons throughout Ayrshire to my chosen cause exemplifies all that is wonderful about our brotherhood. I will of course publish the sum which I raise and ensure that Freemasonry in Ayrshire is recognised for all of the good work that we do.
May all at Lodge St. Maurs Kilmaurs No. 1398 enjoy health and happiness and I hope to be able to come to all of the Lodges and offer my personal thanks once my labours have ended and the recess is over.

I would like to thank RWM, Office Bearers & Brethren for the warm welcome I received on visiting your Mother Lodge on 13th January. It was a real pleasure to witness the outstanding Degree carried out by the Past Masters of the Lodge.

I would like to thank every lodge member who was involved in our 75th Anniversary celebration last Saturday, it was a fantastic occasion.
For all your help and support in this our anniversary year I am truly grateful brethren.
It is a huge honour to be RWM of 1398, and I can honestly say that I was the proudest man in the hall on Saturday.
To our distinguished guests, Provost Jim Todd and Rev John Urquhart, we enjoyed both your company and your insight into the Samaritans and Christian Aid charities.
To all our visitors who managed to come along and join us in our celebration, I hope you had a profitable and a pleasurable time in the company of the brethren of 1398 and I look forward to seeing you all again in St Maurs Kilmaurs.
I would like also to extend a huge thank you to the people behind the scenes on Saturday.
To our caterer on the day PM Bro Robert McKinstry, to Bro Richard Kerr our organist, to Steven Muir our piper for the day and to the bar staff for looking after us.
Thank you all for helping to make Saturday the 10th of October a great day in the history of Lodge St Maurs Kilmaurs 1398.

Had a wonderful day at our 75th Anniversary and Rededication Meeting. My congratulations and thanks to all who were involved in the hard work it must have taken to make the event the success it was, The Toasts/Speeches were first class and left me feeling so proud to say that 1398 is my Mother Lodge.
